Booking Terms and Conditions

We would like to remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract.

A deposit of £60.00 per room per night is required to secure a booking, however this may be £150.00 for special breaks such as Christmas and New Year, or 25% of the estimated total for private functions such as House Parties and Weddings.

The deposit paid £60.00 per room per night is to secure your reservation.

In the event of cancellation the deposit will be lost. No allowance can be made for curtailment of holidays. We are happy to amend your booking on one occasion only for a small administration fee of £10.00. New dates must be advised within 24 hours of amendment.

For your security, the doors to the main house are locked at midnight. We have rooms in our coach house which may be available, please telephone for further details.

A service charge of 10% is payable on function bookings.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Any group bookings for 2 rooms or more will be subject to the following terms and conditions:

The person organizing the booking will be solely responsible for all aspects of the reservation and compliance with our terms and conditions of business.

A letter of confirmation will be issued for all accommodation. This is a contract and as such is a legal document. In the event of any cancellations this person will be responsible for any charges incurred.

We are happy to amend bookings but any adjustment will incur an administration fee of £10.00.

Credit card transactions incur an administration fee of £2.00 per transaction.

House Rules

For guests' comfort and health we operate a strict "No Smoking" Policy throughout the hotel. If we suspect that guests have smoked in the bedrooms or the public areas, we reserve the right to add a charge of £150.00 to the guest account for the cleaning of soft furnishings, carpets etc ….

We regret that we do not take pets in the main house. But, there are several rooms available in the Coach House. Dogs, however well behaved, must not be left in the bedrooms unattended - at meal times just pop them into your vehicle. Alternatively, we can offer the services of a dog sitter at the rate of £8.00 per evening if booked in advance. We make a nominal charge of £7.50 per dog per night.

Rooms are available from 2.00pm on the day of arrival and we request that you vacate your room by 11.00am on the morning of departure. Late departures are sometimes possible and may be arranged with Reception at a nominal charge.

Restaurant dress code for Dinner and Sunday Luncheon is smart casual - no sports wear or trainers.

We respectfully request that you switch off your mobile telephone before being seated in the Dining Room.

We reserve the right to alter this tariff and contents without prior notice.

Single occupancy of Double/Twin – Add £25.00 per night to the per person rate

Third Adult in room - £29.50.00 Room Only

Child 12 or under in room - £10.00 per night Room Only

Cot & Bedding hire - £5.00 per night.

Doors to Maes y Neuadd close at mid-night.

We have room in our coach house available; please ask at reception for further detail.
